Dr Melanie graduated from the University of Adelaide and made the decision to move to Hobart permanently in 2021 after falling in love with the friendly people, rich culture and beautiful sights.

She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and strongly believes that dentistry should be practiced with empathy, honesty and open communication. After spending time with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery teams at the Royal Hobart Hospital & Royal Adelaide Hospital, she has developed a special interest in minor oral surgery. Dr Melanie understands that visiting the dentist can be an anxious time for many people, and works hard to create a relaxed environment for her patients with her humour and easy-going nature.

When not working, she can be found enjoying a sweaty gym session, reading, or on the hunt for new restaurants or brunch spots.
