Our Children's Clinic

Moonah Dental Centre has been proudly offering our children's service for the last 22 years.


Our practices participate in the Australian Government Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS). The CDBS is a program that provides eligible children between ages 2-17 up to $1095 for essential dental services, capped over two consecutive years.


We are able to verify your eligibility if you contact us via phone or email and provide the child's Medicare details.

Emergency Dental Care

Some dental problems can't wait, and you may need to see a dentist immediately. For example, if you're experiencing terrible tooth or jaw pain or had a tooth knocked out, receiving treatment straight away is essential to provide pain relief and ensure your problem doesn't get worse.

Our caring, professional team will ensure your urgent dental needs are tended to, which is why we have extended hours on weeknights & Saturdays at each of our three conveniently located practices in Greater Hobart. So, if you need an emergency appointment, please contact your nearest practice, and we'll do everything we can to book you in urgently and give you the treatment you need.

    Excellent experience! My wisdom tooth was taken off by Dr Anna Thich without so much fear and zero pain today, as it was my first experience in extractions. I may get severe pain after the numb is gone, but she did really good job. She was very gentle, patient and fast. Her action was so confident and calmed. 100% trust on her.
